At the College of Arts and Humanities, our vision is to cultivate a dynamic learning environment where creativity, critical thinking, and cultural understanding flourish. Our mission is to provide a comprehensive education that integrates the study of literature, philosophy, history, languages, visual and performing arts, and other humanities disciplines. Through innovative teaching methods, experiential learning opportunities, and community engagement, we strive to foster intellectual curiosity, empathy, and lifelong learning, preparing students to become thoughtful leaders, compassionate global citizens, and agents of positive change in society.
Academic Excellence: To maintain high standards of academic excellence in the study of arts and humanities disciplines, fostering a culture of critical inquiry, creativity, and intellectual curiosity among students and faculty.
Interdisciplinary Learning: To promote interdisciplinary approaches to learning and research, encouraging collaboration across diverse fields of study within the arts and humanities, and fostering connections between theory and practice.
Cultivation of Critical Thinking: To develop students’ critical thinking skills, analytical abilities, and capacity for reasoned argumentation through rigorous engagement with texts, ideas, and cultural artifacts from different historical periods and cultural contexts.
Promotion of Cultural Awareness: To cultivate cultural awareness, empathy, and understanding among students, fostering appreciation for diverse perspectives, traditions, and expressions of human creativity across different cultures and societies.
Creative Expression: To nurture students’ creative potential and expression through opportunities for artistic exploration, performance, and production in various mediums, including literature, visual arts, music, theater, and digital media.
