The Department of Islamic Law at Afro Asian University provides a rigorous academic program focusing on the principles, interpretation, and applications of Islamic jurisprudence. The Department of Islamic Law at Afro Asian University aims to achieve several learning outcomes for its students, including:
Comprehensive Understanding: Students will demonstrate a deep understanding of the principles, concepts, and sources of Islamic law, including the Quran, Sunnah, Ijma, and Qiyas.
Legal Analysis: Students will develop the ability to critically analyze legal texts, cases, and arguments within the framework of Islamic jurisprudence, applying legal reasoning and methodologies to interpret and derive rulings.
